Eleven Eleven

The brief: Pastel-luxe coffee and brunch bar inspired by Art Deco.

The Concept

Pastel. Art Deco. Manifestation

Our brief was to create a pastel, feminine coloured coffee shop based around manifestation and the angel number 11:11. The owners gave us the name 'Eleven Eleven' as a starting point.

We collaborated with the award winning South Wales business The Vale Cake Boutique to design a coffee and cake boutique which was reflective of the brand’s contemporary and luxury feel. The design took direction from The Vale Cake Boutique’s strong aesthetic creating a physical retail experience to grow further with the brand.

The client asked for a feminine and luxurious colour scheme throughout, with muted pinks, navy blue and gold accents. Finished with brass fittings and marble effects table.

The Vision: Realised

Concept to Completion

We were excited to be involved from concept to completion providing our interior design, project management and complete installation service.

We overcame the challenges of planning in the narrow Victorian property creating a considered layout which maximised covers whilst ensuring circulation. A distinctive blue was chosen to compliment the pastel interior, giving the shop a strong identity on the high street.

The cafe kitchen can be viewed from all angles of the shop, so it was essential to consider the look of the open workspace. The overhead light fittings acts as an aesthetic choice but also shields the full workspace from the eyesight. Whilst retaining the view of the beautiful coffee machinery, menu and keeping the ambience of hustle and bustle in the kitchen.

Pendant lighting was added across the bar and dining area to create an inviting atmosphere that draws customers into the warmth of the shop. We brought a sense of luxury through the addition of brass fittings and marble effect table tops.
