We understand the importance of integrating retail spaces into your wider strategy.
What we do
Fantastically popular and increasingly engaging; pop-up shops can increase brand awareness, allow businesses to trial new products or retail designs and even simply to generate a great deal of turnover in a very short space of time.
However, it is not just start-up companies that benefit from the magic of pop-up shops, they are now being hailed as the saviour of the high street, used as a platform to re-launch brands and products.
Creative Spaces have worked on pop-up shops in a variety of environments from retail units to shopping arcades and coffee shops. We understand the importance of integrating these small retail spaces into your wider brand strategy.
Fizz 'N' Flour
The brief: Pizza and Prosecco bar with industrial and retro European influences.
Fizz ‘n’ flour approached us to support them on their journey from successful pizza pop-up to dynamic Cardiff based restaurant. To support Fizz ‘n’ Flour’s business transformation we created a concept design based on their appreciation of industrial style design.
Concept Design - 3D Design - Technical Drawings - Graphic Identity
Brand Guidelines -
Industrial. Warm. Contemporary.
We paired industrial brushed metal fittings with warm oak, selecting a mix of materials to create texture within the space and added warmth through the use of oak. Pendant lighting was added to create atmosphere and accent lighting used to enhance the bar area.
Taking inspiration from restaurants like Katz's and Jamie's Italian who successfully combine the industrial style with pops of vibrant colour and dynamic lighting.
The Vision: Realised
Fizz 'N' Flour
Concept to Completion
The team developed a full interior design package including 3D visuals, technical drawing package and furniture and materials schedule alongside brand guideline document. We supported Fizz ‘n’ Flour through production and installation.
Retro European Metro Signs: The inspiration for the brand identity and typeface.
To compliment the industrial aesthetic we refreshed their existing brand identity. We selected Hotel typeface, inspired by retro European signage which brings an industrial quality to the brand. This is tied together with a timeless colour palette which has been integrated into the interior design.
Bar Area: The focal point of the room, comprising of custom-built brushed metal bar display featuring branded menus, the solid oak countertop and overhead pendant lighting creating a relaxed and warm atmosphere. Accented blue tile wall to the rear and industrial foot rails for the comfort of visitors sat at the bar.
